Features

The First Alert 10-Year Battery Ultimate Protection Smoke Alarm provides early warning of both flaming and smoldering fires. The built-in 10-year lithium-ion battery provides continuous power, with no need to worry about changing the battery over the lifetime of the smoke detector, and it can be easily installed without wires. A single button both silences and tests the smoke detector for simple operation.

Technology Detects Both Types of Fires

The First Alert smoke alarm comes equipped with two different sensors to provide early warning. The ionization sensor is more sensitive to detecting flaming fires and the photoelectric sensor is more sensitive to detecting smoldering fires. Smoke particles of varying sizes and number are produced in all fires. For maximum protection, use both types of sensing technologies and have alarms on every level and in every bedroom of your home.

Built-In 10-Year Battery

This smoke alarm features a built-in 10-year lithium battery that provides continuous power for the life of the detector. An end-of-life warning lets you know when the device should be replaced.

10- Year, Battery-Powered Fire Detector Installation
