Product Overview
Help detect against CO
Carbon monoxide gas can't be seen or smelled in the air, only properly functioning CO alarms can detect it. Place carbon monoxide alarms on every level and in every bedroom to help keep your family safe.
Reliable dual-power detection
The First Alert® CO3‑P01D Dual‑Power Carbon Monoxide Alarm delivers continuous CO monitoring you can rely on. It plugs into any standard electrical outlet with an optional 6‑foot extendable power cord that gives you flexible placement options. During power outages, the alarm switches to battery power to ensure continued detection. A low‑battery alert lets you know when the backup batteries need replacing, and an end‑of‑life alert signals when it’s time to replace the alarm itself. Carbon monoxide alarms don't last forever and need to be replaced at least every seven years.
CO safety at a glance
The backlit digital display illuminates when the display buttons are pressed or an alarm is triggered, making it ideal for bedrooms and other living spaces, and providesthe battery backup status and carbon monoxide readings at a glance. If a CO incident occurs, the alarm stores the highest level of CO recorded to help inform emergency services.
Recommended placement
Install carbon monoxide alarms on every level and in every bedroom for whole-home detection.
Home CO sources
Carbon monoxide gas can be produced by any fuel-burning device such as furnaces, stoves, boilers, and dryers.
