Product Overview
Ensure reliable CO detection
Working carbon monoxide alarms are the only way to detect dangerous carbon monoxide gas - it can't be seen or smelled. Install carbon monoxide alarms throughout your home on every level and in every bedroom to help keep your family safe.
CO safety at a glance
Alarm shows the battery backup status and CO levels at a glance, and records the peak CO level during an incident to assist emergency services. The backlit digital display activates when the display buttons are pressed or an alarm is triggered, making it ideal to install in bedrooms and other living spaces.
Simple and easy to use
The First Alert® CO3‑B01D Battery‑Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm is simple to set up - just insert the two included AA batteries and mount on the wall to begin monitoring your home for carbon monoxide. The easy‑access battery door lets you install or replace batteries without dismounting the alarm. Use the single test / silence button on the front of the alarm to test the detector and silence false alarms. A low‑battery alert notifies you when the batteries need to be replaced, and an end‑of‑life warning signals when it’s time to replace the alarm itself. Carbon monoxide alarms don't last forever and need to be replaced at least every seven years.
Recommended placement
Install carbon monoxide alarms on every level and in every bedroom for whole-home detection.
Home CO sources
Carbon monoxide gas can be produced by any fuel-burning device such as furnaces, stoves, boilers, and dryers.
