For whole-home detection, install CO alarms on every level and in every bedroom. When carbon monoxide is detected, the alarm sounds a loud warning to alert you to the threat.

The First Alert® CO3‑B01 Battery‑Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm installs quickly and easily. Simply insert the 9V battery and mount on the wall to start monitoring your home for carbon monoxide. Use the single test / silence button on the front of the alarm to test the detector and silence false alarms. A low-battery alert will notify you when it’s time to replace the battery, while an end-of-life warning signals when the alarm itself needs to be replaced. Carbon monoxide alarms don't last forever and need to be replaced at least every seven years.
